Voter Accessibility

Indiana must improve our low voter turnout rate. In 2014, Indiana was last in the nation in voter turnout. Jim will work to improve our turnout rate and make sure that every eligible Hoosier can cast a ballot – no matter where she lives, what language she speaks, or whether she is a Republican or Democrat. Jim will fight to expand voting hours, enact same-day voter registration, and make it easier to vote by mail. Jim will also increase outreach to communities that have traditionally experienced lower turnout rates.
